"Happy Birthday" Card: Crafty Cardmakers DT- Challenge #214

Hello Friends!!!!

Here again to share my Design Team post for Crafty Cardmakers. We have an awesome theme for this time and the challenge is....

"Wet/ Dry Embossing"

So you can enter any paper craft like cards, albums, scrapbooks, mixed media art, art page, layout and more, as long as it meets the theme of the challenge.

Here is my card for our challenge #214 "Wet/Dry Embossing".....

Step by step making:

I started out by picking a simple white card base and styled the card by die cutting using a metal die. I applied clear Gesso partially on to the background, then done some stenciling using iCraft stencil + Prima Marketing Texture paste and added Tonic Studios Nuvo embossing powder- Ballerina Pink all over the textures. Then, I heat embossed it.


To make my card more colorful and refreshing, I used some magical shakers Yodeling Yellow, Guten Tag Teal, Lederhosen Laurel and Bavarian Blue.


After drying I stamped a sentiment " Beautiful Like A Butterfly" using Mudra Stamp set. I used Tim Holtz distress inks Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry, for stamping the sentiment and a beautiful butterfly die cut element.

"For You Papa" Scrap the Boys June Card Challenge

Hello Sweeties!!!
I have something so special to share with you on Father's Day!!!!

Today, our new challenge is up and running over at Scrap the Boys. This is my Mixed Media card as DT inspiration. I chose to make a handmade card with some vintage touch and this is so special because this is for my Dad (Papa). I love him so much....

I used so many gorgeous craft supplies from Prima Marketing Ink, Finnabair, Tim Holtz and Little Birdie Crafts and done some hand stitching using a jute twine to follow the theme of the challenge. I enjoyed a lot while make this mixed media card. 

Our June Scrap the Boys Scrapbooking mood board is just amazing. As we are sharing this fabulous theme for our June Card Challenge, so make a card for Man/Boy using this awesome mood board. Here it is:

Hello friends!!!

Here I am sharing my DT project for Crafty Cardmakers- June Challenge (#213- For a Man/Boy).

I made this big size mixed media tag with a vintage touch, specially for my Dad. I used lots of Prima-Finnabair Patina effect pastes and Rust effect pastes. I added a vintage portrait along with a sentiment "Brave and Handsome" from Tim Holtz idea-ology.

Mixed Media Frames cum Fridge Magnets: My Happy Pack's Chipboads

Hello Lovelies!!!!

Today I am going to share some super cute and adorable mini projects as DT for My Happy Packs. I altered two chipboard frames using "My Happy" Chipboard set and "Jolly Good Girl" paper collection from our new release at My Happy Packs. 

I am in love with these chippies, actually they white chippies which come with top quality material and so light in weight too. Our newly launched paper pack is so adorable and unique, as it contains nicely designed pattern papers with so many vibrant colors. This pack comes with loads of die cut elements and fun part of this collection is that you can color some doodled images by own. This paper pack comes with lots of possibilities to create something very special for your little angel. As I wanted to make some adorable and girlish DIYs for kids in this summer vacation, that was the only reason I chosen my so favourite Prima- Finnabair Art Alchemy Paints and Art stones (two different size) to make these tiny creations more special. It was almost my second experiment with Finnabair Acrylic Paints and Art Stones as they are really few in numbers in my stash (I am trying to collect many more and I am so obsessed with Finnabair products). I used some sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang, as they are so refreshing. I really convinced and pleased with the results.

Actually I was so inspired with the colours of ongoing challenge at Mixed Media & Art- May Challenge "Juicy" and see how amazing the mood board is for current challenge:
