Mixed Media Lamp - Christmas Decoration - Tiny House Lamp

Hello lovelies,

Hope all of you are doing well and staying healthy with your family.

Today I have a cute tini tiny altered projects "Mixed Media House Lamp", which I made to participate in the #paintingmydream Challenge hosted by Iridescent Secrets. For their Oct-Nov challenge Artist Inspiration was my favourite artist "Marta Lapkowska". She is an amazing soul and most talented artist in the craft community. I always watch her on YouTube and have been connected to her since I started my creative journey.
So Here is my cute DIY lamp with beautiful coulours. It can be used as a Christmas Tree Ornament, hanging lantern or as a decorative piece for our sweet home.
I have recycled an empty tetra pack of juice. I have used beautiful chipboard pieces from Mudra Craft Stamps.  I have used mixed media supplies from Finnabair, Prima Marketing Inc, Iron Orchid Designs and Little Birdie Craft.

I hope you will love my altered Mixed Media Lamp.

I am entering this lovely tiny storage box into following amazing challenges:

Word Inspiration: Books
Creative Challenge: Book Paper
(I made a tiny treasure box / storage box from cardboard of a medicine box. There is a cute little miniature notebook made using some old book paper. I added some pieces of book paper randomly on the lid of the box. By adding these old papers great texture can be achieved. I love the way my tiny box turned out.
I was inspired with the quote:
"There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on treasure island." - Walt Disney)

Crafty Cardmakers: DT Inspiration - Challenge #261 "Lots of Layers"

 Hello creative souls,

Hope all of you are doing well and staying healthy at home with your family.

We are back from the summer break at Crafty Cardmakers, so today we have a new challenge hosted by our sweet and talented Jo.
Challenge theme is - Lots of Layers

Today I have this mixed media altered box as an inspiration project. I have used an empty treat box to recycle it into a cute box. I have added so many layers using Little Birdie Crafts handmade flowers and created amazing textures using Prima Marketing Inc- Finnabair modelling paste and stencil. To add some shine, I have used Finnabair waxes (Vintage Gold and Amethyst Magic). Have a look my lovely friends:

As usual you can enter anything like a card, scrapbook, mixed media piece, home decor, art journal, 3D projects and OTP's, as long as it meets the challenge theme.

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving lovely comments on my creations. It makes me so happy and I really love reading your comments.

Mixed Media Glass - Altered Art "Say Goodbye to the Pain"

Hello lovely crafty friends,
Hoping all of you are doing well and staying healthy with your family.
Today I have this gorgeous altered art piece, which is a Mixed Media Glass. I was inspired with the wonderful July challenge at More Than Words. This glass has its own story. When this glass broke and I got hurt from inside and outside too (I was sad because this glass was going to end up by throwing into a dustbin). So I decided to transform this glass into a Home Decor piece to ease my soul. The below mentioned quote inspired me so much along with the challenge's word inspiration "Goodbye".

"If you are brave enough to say Goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello' Paulo Coelho

For Creative challenge "Monochromatic", I have used different shades of green colour and finished my project with the touch of Gold.

This piece can be used as beautiful home decor. I made it from scratch, using some mixed media techniques.  I have tried to make minimal use of fancy supplies.

Are you interested to know how?

I hope you all love them as much as I do.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Mixed Media Place - July 2020 Challenge

(As the July mood board presents a big image of Sea shells, these beautiful sea shells are my all time favourite, so I have added loads of them into this altered glass. The colours from the mood board are Green and Gold which inspired me so much to transform a broken wine glass into a treasured home decor item.)
